How to get to France

Cheap flights to France are readily available, with plenty of regional airports and lots of budget airlines covering routes across the channel.

From the south of the UK you could also consider taking the Eurostar from central London. Or catch the Eurotunnel or a ferry if you want to have your own car once you arrive.

Where to stay in France

There's a wealth of accommodation in France, from chic boutique hotels that can make your time in Paris really special, to beachside hotels in trendy resorts like Biarritz and even mountain chalets in the Alps and Pyrenees.

There's options to suit all budgets, but if you're after a really cheap holiday in France expect to be in accommodation that's a little more on the outskirts. If you are looking for summer accommodation, French campsites offer another alternative. Many now have a range of facilities to keep even the busiest children amused and in some cases you feel you are not roughing it with the level of luxury on offer.
