My wife decided sunbathing was all she needed to do on us holidays so I found myself a fisherman who took me out and let me fish all day. It wasn't quite as peaceful as at home because obviously he had a living to make, but I got to eat a fish i'd caught that evening so I was pretty chuffed!

Until fairly recently the Egyptian town of Hurghada was just a little fishing village, but it's now become one of the Red Sea's most important tourist resorts with a variety of Hurghada holidays on offer. This is not only a leading centre for water sports, especially diving and snorkelling, but also has superb beaches for a more relaxing stay.
