This is the most buzzing part of Mumbai for me, where you can find market stalls, bars and plenty of places to stay. As well as of course a lot of street food. Wicked area, you have to stay here when you go to Mumbai.

What a fascinating place! There is so much history here that you can almost feel overwhelmed, so just enjoy the experience. Make sure that you look out for the metalwork and ivories though, they were my wife's highlight.

Ah the comforting gateway, the first sight you'll see and a talisman for the lost traveller! It's great to have such an iconic meeting point to get your bearings from and the atmosphere around the gate means you don't even mind waiting for your lost friends!
