Although I've been pretty busy since I joined dealchecker a few months ago, I've still managed to squeeze in a few of those all-important family holidays! Whilst I love getting away on a plane to somewhere hot and sunny, I'm a big believer in the classic English break; Norfolk and Devon are particular favourites! Taking my old VW camper van on a nice relaxing break to the stunning British countryside can sometimes be just what the doctor ordered!
I've been going there since I was a kid and is the one of the most picturesque towns in the UK. Great sailing when I manage not to capsize!
One of the great holiday destinations. I love the big rides!
I can't go a winter without heading off to the slopes. I'm always on the lookout for a good ski deal especially if it means I can go more than once!
At the last count I've stepped foot in 41 of the 50 US states, I've lived over there twice and I still have many great friends over there.
TRAVEL TIP - " Always consider indirect flights - there are some amazing deals to be had and you get to see more of the world."
October half term at Camping Duinrell in Holland. Not many campsites are open until the end of October. Then again it is the only campsite I know that has its own theme park and water park. A great family holiday and a bargain for a half tem break.
It has to be my honeymoon. Palm Island in the Grenadines - a truly beautiful place and probably the only time I have chilled out on a sun lounger for a week.
I'd love to charter a yacht and sail into Venice.
Leaving my passport on the X-ray machine at Stansted Airport and only realising when I got to the gate. Lord Foster failed in his design as you can't go back for it!
My wife and kids
On the go - there's too much to discover.
When the person next to you is showing off because they think they got a great price for their hotel/holiday/flight but you know you got it even cheaper!
It's a tough one, but I always have a fabulous meal at the Olive Branch in Clipsham.
