Easy Christmas Recipes to Try This Festive Season

The festive season is here and while it is a joyous time of year, it also brings a lot of pressure to those hosting Christmas parties and gatherings. We’ve compiled a list of some low maintenance and delicious seasonal recipes to spice up your festive spread this winter.

1. Nutella Christmas Tree

This fun and tasty recipe takes just half an hour to make and is incredibly easy, ideal for the Christmas rush. It calls for just one packet of pre-rolled puff pastry, one egg, and a jar of Nutella. All you need to do is roll out your puff pastry onto a floury surface and cover it in a generous amount of Nutella, place the other sheet of puff pastry on top, then cut it diagonally on each side and twist each section. Once you have your Christmas tree shape, brush the pastry with a light layer of egg wash and bake at 190°C for 15 minutes!

2. Roasted Sprouts with Pomegranate and Chestnuts

To add a twist to your Brussels sprouts, why not add in some extra ingredients? By roasting your sprouts in honey and topping them with some cooked chestnuts and pomegranate seeds you can easily spruce up this beloved Christmas dish. You can buy your pre-cooked chestnuts and pomegranate seeds from a range of mainstream supermarkets to make this recipe just that bit easier.
