The 5th of November is coming around fast, and it’s time to organise how you’re going to spend this commemorative day. Whether you’re intending on celebrating Guy Fawkes Night with your friends or family, there are a variety of fireworks events to choose from around London! This year, Bonfire Night falls on a Saturday meaning that you can get a little bit boozy without having to worry about work the next day.

1. Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival

Named ‘the Glastonbury of fireworks displays’, Bonfire Night at Alexandra Palace is famous around London for being a spectacular night. While this event is particularly popular amongst young adults, Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival is also suited for families and has a range of child-friendly features, including a Victorian cinema which will be showing The Lego Movie, a funfair, an ice disco, and fire jugglers! In addition to the fireworks display, there is also a beer tent where adults can fuel up through the evening.

2. Primrose Hill

If you’re looking for a festive and affordable activity, we recommend taking a picnic and some bubbly up to Primrose Hill on the 5th of November to watch the fireworks displays all over London. Primrose Hill is well known for being one of the best viewpoints in the city, from which you can see all of London’s famous skyscrapers which will be illuminated by the mesmerising and vibrant fireworks that light up the city.

3. Fireworks Night Boat Party

If you want to celebrate this Bonfire Night in style, consider booking this chic boat party! Departing from Crown Pier, this boat party travels down the Thames and boasts two floors both of which feature a large bar, a DJ, and – of course – a dance floor! Additionally, this event includes a free after party worth £25, meaning that the party doesn’t have to stop when the fireworks finish and the boat docks!
