The name of this spot in Muswell Hill had us expecting that this restaurant would do an excellent fry up, but perhaps not much else. However, the name couldn’t be more misleading. Instead, the focus here is on fresh ingredients and food that’s as nourishing as it is delicious. It’s open for every meal of the day and breakfast includes dishes like shakshuka and a Middle Eastern mezze plate, while dinners include an array of Asian dishes like a tasty crispy cauliflower dish, and an excellent katsu curry. It’s the sort of friendly neighbourhood spot that you’ll want to return to time and time again.

This tapas restaurant and wine bar is the hottest place to drink in Crouch End. It was opened by the former music producer, Stephen Lironi, and the atmosphere here has always been distinctly fun. The decor is somewhat ramshackle, in the best possible way, and has us feeling as though we’ve just stepped in from a Spanish beach. We recommend sitting at the bar and grabbing some fresh seafood as you work your way through the well-curated wine list here.
